The 2026 tournament is played on the New Course at Hidden Lake Golf Club, a championship-calibre ClubLink property in Burlington. Tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and classic ClubLink conditioning set the stage for a competitive, social round.

Hole by hole
The journey from first tee to last green.
Hidden Lake New Course, Gold tees. 18 holes, Par 71, 6,471 yards.
Solid opening par-4. Position off the tee sets up a full approach.
Middle par-4. Club selection off the tee matters more than distance.
Long par-3. Take one more club than the yardage suggests.
Short par-4. Plenty of options off the tee for scoring.
Scoring opportunity. Keep the drive in play.
Mid-iron par-3. Trust your number to the center of the green.
The longest hole on the course. A true three-shot par-5.
Reachable par-5 for longer hitters. Decision-making off the tee is key.
Closing par-3 on the front. Long iron or hybrid for most.
Strong opener on the back. Commit to your line off the tee.
Mid-iron par-3. Take the green in the middle and move on.
Standard par-4. Placement off the tee rewards the approach.
Demanding par-4. Two committed shots is a strong par.
The shortest par-5 on the course. A legitimate birdie look.
Risk-reward par-4. Long hitters may challenge the green.
Drivable for the bigger hitters. Rewards a smart play.
Short par-3 before the finisher. Focus on distance control.
Closing par-5. Reachable in two for a walk-off birdie or eagle.
Tournament format
4-Person Scramble
The DeGroote MBA Golf Tournament is played as a 4-person scramble (also known as best ball). After each shot, the team selects the best of the four balls and all players play their next shot from that spot. This continues until the ball is holed. Every player contributes. The team records one score per hole. All groups play from the Gold tees on the New Course at Hidden Lake Golf Club.

All four players tee off. The team selects the best shot and everyone plays from that spot. Repeat until the ball is holed.
Standard rules apply. No do-overs.
USGA rules govern all play unless otherwise noted by the committee.
Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive competitions will be held on designated holes. Details provided on event day.
Every group receives a custom-printed tournament scorecard featuring the Hidden Lake New Course layout. Yours to keep. Teams submit scorecards at the end of the round for committee verification before the awards ceremony.
Dress code
Golf attire at all times.
Standard golf attire is required on the course and in the clubhouse at all times. This includes collared shirts, golf pants or shorts, and golf shoes. Jeans, track suits, beach wear, and frayed clothing are not permitted. ClubLink enforces this policy.

Hidden Lake is a short drive from Hamilton, Toronto, and the GTA. Here's the quick version.
403 West to Hwy 6 North.
QEW West, exit at Guelph Line or Appleby Line.

Free parking at Hidden Lake Golf Club, adjacent to the clubhouse. Arrive by 12:00 PM for check-in and warm-up before the 1:30 PM shotgun start.
